The subconscious mind runs about 90% of our daily life. It is created in childhood, usually before the age of eight years old. Think of the subconscious mind as a sponge, soaking up all external cues that happen around us, sometimes true and accurate, but often times it is what the child is perceiving to be the truth. The subconscious mind then uses these beliefs and conclusions as a filter for all future experiences. It creates emotions, beliefs, and eventually thoughts and behaviors based on these childhood experiences buried just beneath the surface.
Enter hypnotherapy. While in hypnosis, which is a completely natural state, the critical factor of the mind is bypassed, which leaves the subconscious mind wide open for change and transformation.
